Su recorrido comienza cuando lo recogemos en su hotel por la mañana o tarde, seguido de un corto y pintoresco viaje al encantador pueblo de Naranjito, en donde conocerá la plantación de este increíble producto, su historia, y cómo los mejores granos hacen el viaje de la tierra a su paladar con una deliciosa degustación de café.

Costa Rica’s tropical climate coupled with its mineral-rich soil offer ideal conditions to grow its globally renowned premium quality coffee. Your journey begins with a hotel pickup, either in the morning or afternoon,  followed by a short and picturesque trip to the charming, small town of Naranjito. Once arrived, you will have the opportunity to tour the plantation where all our organic products are grown. You will learn about each plant’s origins and their journey from farm to table. Additionally, a coffee tasting will be offered with a detailed description of its production process, from the best grain selection all the way to your taste buds.

Tour de Chocolate/ Our Chocolate Tour

En nuestro tour tendrá la oportunidad de aprender aspectos interesantes del cacao y el chocolate, desde su origen e historia, participando en todo el proceso de producción, desde la cosecha de la fruta, el secado y la molienda de la semilla, y por supuesto disfrutando de un chocolate orgánico de alta calidad.

Disfrute de la experiencia más dulce de la selva tropical, descubriendo los antiguos secretos del chocolate: su descubrimiento y uso en américa tropical. Considerado como un regalo de los dioses, el árbol de cacao era muy importante para la cultura antigua, no solo se usaba como bebida ceremonial debido a su valor económico en muchas regiones de Mesoamérica., incluida Costa Rica.

On our tour, you will have the opportunity to learn interesting facts about cocoa and chocolate, such as its history, in addition to participating in a hands-on experience producing chocolate. Immerse yourself in all facets of the production process, ranging from the harvesting of the fruit, to drying and grinding its seeds, to developing the ancient and traditional cocoa drink of our ancestors, and of course tasting high quality organic chocolate.

Enjoy this sweet experience, made possible thanks to the lucious rainforest, and learn about chocolate’s ancient secrets, such as its discovery and use in tropical America to the processing of the product we know today.

Considered a gift from the gods, cacoa has histroically played an important cultural role. Beyond its use in preparing the ceremonial drink, cacao also served as currency, and thus held economic value in many regions of Meso-America, including Costa Rica.
